Tufts University won both the first and second eights grand finals at the 2026 NCAA Division III national championship regatta at Lake Lanier Olympic Park in Gainesville, Georgia.

The victories marked the second year in a row that head coach Lily Siddall’s Jumbos won both finals, and the third year in a row that Tufts has claimed the national title.

The Division III championship is decided on team points scored in the first and second varsity eights races. This year’s regatta schedule was compressed into a single day, as heats and finals were run on Friday, due to concerns over the forecast weather for Saturday. Bates took second, William Smith third, Trinity fourth, and Williams fifth, as four points separated second through fifth in the teams’s final championship standings.
