Rowing News is bringing the rowing community back together in person December 10-12, 2026 and again in December, 2027 in Philadelphia at The Logan Hotel for the revival of the in-person annual convention .
“Regattas don’t leave room for the relaxed, in-between conversations that matter most,” said Rowing News publisher Chip Davis. “This convention is built around exactly that — shared meals and casual conversation, alongside subject experts, meetings, seminars, and panels — to build the relationships and have the conversations that will make our sport better.”
Three tracks—individual, organization, and community—with expert-led discussion featuring subjects including ‘How telemery is changing coaching’, ‘We provide experiences’, ‘Regatta best practices; ‘Meeting the need for data standards in rowing’, and ‘Insurance and compliance issues’ are planned, with experts including national champion coaches Dave O’Neill, Michael Callahan, and Mike Teti scheduled to appear along with industry experts and community leaders John Leonard, Leslie Pfeil, and Rick Brown.
