Husky Open: Another of the rare regattas that features junior, collegiate, and masters racing, the Husky Open runs Saturday on Seattle’s famed Montlake Cut. With over 100 entries from 25 teams, the regatta will feature racing between local junior powerhouses Sammamish, Green Lake, and more.  Sammamish has the most crew entered with 20, while Mt. Baker has the second most with 13 entries, both featuring juniors and masters athletes. Race results can be found here.

Boston Collegiate Racing: Top crews in Boston face off against cross-town rivals Saturday for bragging rights and cups. After being uncontested for many years, the women’s Beanpot is back as the openweight women from Boston University, #18 Harvard-Radcliffe, and Northeastern (with a guest appearance by Dartmouth). Meanwhile, the open women from MIT and Boston College will contest the MIT Cup. On the men’s site, #13 Boston University and #6 Northeastern will contest the Arlett Cup, which the Huskies have won 16 of the past 21 years.  All Charles River racing results can be found here.
