    The Western Intercollegiate Rowing Association (WIRA) Championships took place last weekend on Sacramento's Lake Natoma. WIRA, a regional organization with membership comprised of 40 rowing programs at all division levels, includes nearly every rowing program in the West, outside of the Pac-12 varsity heavy/openweight teams.
