A new high-school rowing league is cheduled to begin in fall 2027 in Oklahoma City thanks to a $1 million grant from the Inasmuch Foundation to the RIVERSPORT Foundation, which will administer the new Varsity Rowing League.

1904 Olympic oarsman John Mulcahy will be honored along with Olympic medalist and world champion Fiona Murtagh '16 at Fordham Hall of Fame ceremony.

The World Rowing Shanghai Sprints will take place September 26–27, 2026, in Shanghai, China, and feature seven national teams and an eighth world team racing 500-meter sprints in the city center with thousands of dollars in prize money on the line.
