Philadelphia club juggernaut Vesper is always force on the summer circuit. The latest evidence of their dominance came at the behemoth USRowing Club National Championships July 12-16 on Harsha Lake in Bethel, Ohio, where the Boathouse Row club took the overall team points title, and with it, the Colgan Cup, for a remarkable sixth consecutive year. Coached by Lindsey Meyer, a member of the 2008 U.S. Olympic team, Vesper earned both the men’s and women’s team points titles. “Vesper is everyone working together as a team,” said Meyer, who did her part with a second-place finish of her own in the women’s elite/senior double.
