The assembled men’s and women’s Super Eights crews closed out the two-day event with victories in the featured championship eights races. The men’s Super Eights, competing as the British-based Tideway Scullers, covered the serpentine, 3-mile course in 14:33.239. They were followed by the University of California (14:45.551) and the defending champions from the University of Washington (14:45.797). Read more by Rich Thompson at the Herald, here
